At Yümmies, we understand that situations may arise that make it necessary to cancel an order. This Policy explains when a cancellation may be requested, who may process it, and what happens to any associated payments and benefits.
This Cancellation Policy applies to all orders placed through the Platform, including orders for delivery, pickup, and dine-in.
Delivery orders will also be governed by the Yümmies Delivery Policy.
The possibility of canceling an order will depend on its status, the progress of its preparation or delivery, and the particular circumstances of the case.
The Customer may cancel an order directly through the application while it remains in “Pending” status and has not yet been confirmed by the Merchant Partner.
Once successfully completed, the cancellation will be reflected in the order status. If the order is confirmed while the request is being processed, the Customer must contact the support team.
Once the Merchant Partner has confirmed the order, the Customer will no longer be able to cancel it directly through the application.
To request a cancellation, the Customer must contact the Yümmies support team as soon as possible and provide the order number or identifier and the reason for the request.
After confirmation, only the Merchant Partner or an authorized Yümmies administrator may process the cancellation.
Submitting a request does not imply its automatic approval. We will evaluate the status of the order, the progress of its preparation, whether it has already been picked up or dispatched, and any other relevant circumstances.
When an order is already being prepared, ready for delivery or pickup, or in transit to the Customer, a cancellation requested solely because the Customer changed their mind will normally not be approved.
However, Yümmies or the Merchant Partner may cancel the order before it is marked as “Delivered” when there is a justified reason, an agreement with the Customer, an operational issue, a safety concern, or a right recognized under applicable law.
The Merchant Partner or Yümmies may cancel an order before it is marked as delivered when reasonably necessary, including situations such as:
When possible, the Customer will be informed of the cancellation and its reason through the application or the available communication channels.
Delivery Partners are currently unable to cancel an entire order directly. If a Delivery Partner is unable to complete a delivery, they must notify the support team so that Yümmies or the Merchant Partner can manage the order and determine the appropriate solution.
Yümmies currently does not charge a specific fee for canceling an order.
However, a cancellation request may be denied when the order has already been confirmed, prepared, picked up, or dispatched, particularly when the request is based solely on the Customer changing their mind.
If cancellation fees are introduced in the future, they will be clearly disclosed to the Customer before they become applicable, and this Policy will be updated when appropriate.
When an approved cancellation results in the return of an amount already paid, that amount will currently be credited as a balance in the Yümmies Wallet.
This also applies to orders paid by bank transfer. For orders payable in cash, no refund will be generated when payment has not yet been made.
If a cash payment was made before the cancellation, the Customer must notify the support team so that the payment can be verified and the corresponding refund can be processed.
If the Customer requires the refund to be processed by bank transfer, cash, or another available method, they must notify the support team before canceling the order directly or before the cancellation and refund are processed through the Platform.
Once the amount has been credited to the Yümmies Wallet, changing it to another refund method does not occur automatically and must be evaluated by the support team, taking into account the Platform’s technical limitations and the circumstances of the case.
Refunds related to cancellations will also be governed by the Yümmies Refund Policy.
Yümmies Points and cashback associated with a purchase are generated only when the order is marked as “Delivered”. Therefore, a canceled order will not generate these benefits.
When points, coupons, promotional credits, or other benefits were used on the order, their restoration or adjustment will depend on the applicable terms of the benefit and the technical capabilities available.
Expired, complimentary, or single-use promotional benefits will not necessarily be restored or converted into cash.
If the Customer detects an error in the address, location, products, quantities, or order instructions, they must contact support as soon as possible.
Yümmies and the Merchant Partner will attempt to correct the information when operationally and technically possible, but changes cannot be guaranteed after the order has been confirmed or its preparation has begun.
When a correction is not possible, we will evaluate whether the order should be canceled or continued under the conditions originally confirmed.
An order that has already been marked as “Delivered” cannot be canceled.
If the Customer received an incomplete, incorrect, damaged, spoiled, or otherwise problematic order, they must submit a claim in accordance with the Yümmies Refund Policy.
Yümmies may review, deny, or limit requests that present reasonable indications of fraud, abuse, repeated bad-faith cancellations, promotional manipulation, or any other misuse of the Platform.
Decisions made for security or fraud-prevention purposes will not limit any rights available to the Customer under applicable law.
To request a cancellation after an order has been confirmed or to ask a question concerning this Policy, the Customer may use the Live Chat option available in the application’s main menu or email info@yummies.delivery.
This Policy supplements the Yümmies Terms and Conditions.
